Start off your summer riding season by joining us for our second annual Bikes and Brews Ride on May 23, 2026 hosted by the Friends of the Tabor to Platte Rail to Trail.  

The ride is on paved roads with a few gentle, rolling hills and enjoyable stops at the Platte Creek Brewery and Armour Bewing Company.  

The ride starts at the Platte South Park (101 E 10th St, Platte, SD.)  Choose from 16 mile ride ending at Platte Creek Brewery in Geddes or 37 miles ending at Armour Brewing Company in Armour (with a stop in Geddes.)  

Sag support, shuttle service, t-shirt and snack provided.

Start time: 08:30 – 37 mile ride

 08:45 – 16 mile ride                       

Safety:  Safety is our #1 priority for this ride.  Helmets required.  No earbuds, please.  Follow all rules of the rode. Ride single file when other vehicles are present. 

Shuttle service available.   To utilize the shuttle service, drop your bike off at the starting point (Platte South Park,) then drive your vehicle to your end point (Geddes for 16 milers and Armour for 37 milers.) Our shuttle will pick drivers up at 07:30 in Armour and 08:00 in Geddes and transport drivers back to starting point in Platte.  Note we will not be transporting bicycles.  

Cost:  $50.00.  Includes T-shirt, sag support, shuttle service and snack.

*Sag support will not be provided for those opting to bike back to starting point.  

Registrations received after May 18 will need to make arrangements to received T-shirts at a later date.
